Techcompany ACTE A/S – rebranding in record time

In very short time, we at mettethorsen.com have succeeded in developing and bringing to life ACTE A/S's new corporate brand. We have produced seven new websites, newsletters, strategies, annual plans and a comprehensive design manual. All communication elements are based on a completely new design and imagery which resonate high quality, simplicity and aesthetics.

 

ACTE A/S is a consultancy and sales company with specialist knowledge in technology solutions. The company is part of the Swedish Lagercrantz Group AB, which is listed on Nasdaq, and which in 2018 had a turnover of SEK 3.4 billion.

 

From beginning to end, mettethorsen.com was responsible for leading the development and execution of strategies and value-adding initiatives in business development, communication, branding, design development, events and networks, as well as ensuring that the efforts point to ACTE A/S's strategic objectives. All activities took place in close cooperation with the customer.

  • Stakeholder management and leadership: ACTE's management and employees as well as external suppliers such as graphic designer, photographer and digital consultant. From ideas and concept development to finished elements.

  • Comprehensive strategy development and execution: Having the primary responsibility for leading the development and execution of strategies and value-adding initiatives in business development, communication, events and networks as well as ensuring that the efforts point to the company's business strategic objectives. Focus on developing simple strategies for immediate and vigorous execution.

  • Advice on value creation through business and organisational development, communications, events and networks.

  • Process-oriented concept development, brand strategy and visual storytelling. Having the primary responsibility with the graphic artist: Design development of acte.biz, acte-industry.biz, acte-rail.biz, acte-iot.biz, acte-energy.biz and acte-maritime.biz. Sparring, planning and development from prototype to finished design. UX and UI design for a complete main site with associated portal entry and sub-sites including design blocks, sitemaps, product pages, references to selected products, product categories, info pages, vendor lists, contact and news. Focus on the organisation's business strategic objectives in relation to navigation, interactions, scenarios and user comfort. Planning and transfer of design templates to digital consultant and subsequent quality assurance. Visual identity and design manual: Planning, development and presentation of a complete design manual including typography, colour universes, graphic elements, imagery and cropping of motifs to further the visual identity of the brand development. Design development of newsletters, fact sheets and PowerPoint templates. Redesign of logo in collaboration with graphic artist.
  • Responsibilities in Communication, PR and Marketing: Reformulating the company's mission, vision and values. Communication strategy and annual planning cycle containing input to SoMe, initiatives and events. Content for fact sheets and newsletters.
